I'm not in the list; I hope somebody there finds these ideas useful. I'm not up to the task.
(1) Check the data flow editors of games like Crysis, Unreal Development Kit. Check editor of Reaktor audio software. That is what I would like to do in Dia. (2) Add named pipe or socket to Dia so that another software can continuously follow how the diagram is changed. Then Dia would be useful as interactive frontend. I need a general data flow editor to be used with a few audio and graphics software, visual language, etc. Something which I don't have to compile everytime. Juhana
