There's a git repository for the shapes:

So it's quite easy to follow the changes. There you'll also find the
necessary autotools stuff to install
the shapes.
Note that not all the shapes have been added yet to the git repository.
If you would like to help packaging,
I suggest to start by adding the remaining shapes.
