Hello,

I have a newbie question about interface to Dia. I am wondering if Dia
is strictly an interactive tool, or does Dia have a Python script
interface. Can I write a Python script that will run and produce a
.png or .jpg output file of a Dia diagram.

e.g. I would like to run a python script and get .JPG or .PNG file
output.

linux_prompt> python draw_network_diag_using_dia.py

Is this possible? If yes, could someone point me to example python
scripts?

I am working on Linux, and I would like to draw network diagrams showing
nodes, IP addresses, connections etc.

Is Dia the right tool for such application? If not, any suggestions?

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
