I tried to figure out the differences between diagrams and found this:
In the wrong diagram connection point number 8 (eight) of ellipse was
used instead of connection point 0. (The other connection point was 4)
I created a new diagram trying (hard) to use connection 8 (pointing to
center of ellipse not just moving around border and reproduced bad behabior.
