I had a similar problem with 0.88 WIN32. More precisely, when using UML, I
found that the dialog boxes brought up when editing UML objects had no text
on them (no labels) and the appearance of the dialog box was concurrent with
the appearance of the same ReleaseDC warning. There seemed to be some
interaction between the problem and the Gimp, but the only solution I found
was to use DIA 0.86, which didn't seem to have the problem.

Hello!
I'm fairly new to Dia and have problems that I can't figure out.
I'm on a 0.88 WIN32 and every time I try to say alter the windowsize I
get a dosbox warning:
GDK-Warning**: gdkgc-win32.c:934: RelaeseDC failure.
Then the program shutdown as I close the dosbox.
I'm using WINME.
Could someone please help me out. In linux no such problem happens!
