In my country (Cameroon), WHO and UNICEF offered mobile phones to health
facilities, districts and regions in order to ameliorate data collection for
health programs. These phones are provided with credit monthly, there is
low-cost for sms between the phones and calls are free.
I want to use this opportunity to try a data collection system using these
phones particularly for disease surveillance and DHIS 2 Live.
Then how can I easily do it and with which tools knowing that I am beginner in
DHIS 2 ?

There are many different platforms which have their various advantages and and
disadvantages. Riddy mentioned SMS, but we have used the J2ME solution for
several years in Zambia, and it has worked and scaled to several thousand
users very well. There are other options such as the web-based client for
mobiles, as well as a native Android app. Of course, they can all be used
together. As Nick says, describe a bit more what you want to do and we might be
able to describe some other places where similar solutions have been
implemented based on your use case.
