Hi Adam, We have seen this type of error before, and it seems to be connectivity related, but not sure of the exact cause.
https://ci.dhis2.org/job/dhis2-trunk/ and https://travis-ci.org/dhis2/dhis2-core are both running fine, so I suspect it is something local. Which version are you attempting to compile?
