We are having issues using short name of data elements inside the tables in the Event Reports app and some charts in the Event Visualization app. The short names do appear in the left pane for selecting the elements, but not in charts and tables themselves. I've found an entry about the same bug in the Pivot Table that was fixed in version 2.23. https://bugs.launchpad.net/dhis2/+bug/1575796 I suppose that the fix was not propagated to analytic apps working with Events.
