Person Identifier in Tabular Report makes System Hang

Bug description:
In tabular report if I add any Person Identifier under Data items, the
system just hangs. Strictly speaking, the person identifiers are not
data elements so one could argue that they should not be there in the
first place. However, it's an extremely useful item to have in the
report.
I haven't checked if this is a problem on the demo site but can
provide access to the database in question if required.
I am using Version 2.13 and Build revision: 12794.
