I remember once in these beloved place someone mentioned something about MariaDB to replace MySQL. Is there anyone who ever tried?
I know that many of us use PostgreSQL. Anyway, MariaDB will be replace MySQL soon at least for the Linux world as RedHat announced for the next version ( http://www.itwire.com/business-it-news/open-source/60292-red-hat-ditches-mysql-switches-to-mariadb). So I am looking forward test on it. Yes, most DHIS installations under Linux are Ubuntu based and Canonical did not say nothing yet but much probably will move to MariaDB. Caveman
