Thanks for the update. I guess that decision was pretty much of a no-brainer. Looks like a good move to me. On a side note, trademark really is a powerful form of IP. And has the unique property that, unlike say patents and copyright, it doesn't expire. So if oracle want to start asserting trademark rights its surely a good time to move.
