hi Lars, I would like to bring up to one suggestion that receiving from Jason is using "each font file for each/group of locale(s)". For example, with the Deja Vu font so it is a good candidate for Vietnamese but not for Hindi. I thought that it's not a problem if we would check the locale before printing a file such PDF in this case. And adding several fonts which will do not make our system being a bit of messy.
