Not sure why you are hijacking this thread. But you must be on the supported list of ubuntu distros to get v7 (ubuntu 20 and newer) and only 64-bit x86 processors. https://launchpad.net/~kicad/+archive/ubuntu/kicad-7.0-releases
Space Navigator/Space Mouse support does not exist on Linux and is only available on Windows and macOS.
