Hello Ken-

There has not been any discussion about creating a general table object.
We do have open issues for working with stackup tables and drill map tables.

Creating a general dril map object and editing capability is certainly
feasible for a motivated programmer during v8 development.

If you'd like to take that task on, the first step would be to write a
specification proposal for how the object would be stored, edited and
output. That can be posted here for general discussion.

If you're looking for someone else to write this, then you will need to
submit a feature request at our issue tracker
https://gitlab.com/kicad/code/kicad/-/issues . Alternatively, you can
request a quote for targeted development from our dedicated service
provider (https://www.kicad.org/help/professional-support/)

Best,
Seth
