You didn’t miss any memo. Konstantin, I wonder (genuinely to see what we can do 
better to have a discussion about this kind of thing without ending up with FUD 
spreading) how you got that impression?

Shawn has raised QTBUG-90296 as another candidate for a BiC change after that, 
and while it’s another straw, it’s IMHO not the straw that breaks the 
proverbial camel’s back (because while not super convenient, this can be done 
in a QQuickItem::event() override).
