Looks good to me for ARC part. We did found an issue back in the day right in deleted code see http://cgit.uclibc-ng.org/cgi/cgit/uclibc-ng.git/commit/?id=25f4ae1de711b2001b4958d65e77b6dba222e7b5. So I do like the change.
