It looks like the arm toolchain in our instructions (arm-none-eabi) is different from the one in the build configs in the camkes-arm-vm project. Possible solutions for you: - change the toolchain to arm-none-eabi: make menuconfig -> Toolchain Options -> Cross compiler prefix -> Change to "arm-none-eabi-" - install the arm-linux-gnueabi toolchain Regarding the "While rendering Makefile: unhandled exception in template Makefile: macro() takes exactly 6 arguments (7 given)" error, I'm unable to reproduce it. Can you give some details about your build environment (os, distro, etc). I just: 1) repo init the url ; 2) repo sync; 3) make tk1_vm_defconfig; and 4) make.
