unsere Open-Source-Community ist groß und schön. Einige von uns werden von Firmen bezahlt, andere tun es aus eigenem Interesse. Aber wann ist es für Firmen überhaupt profitabel Open Source Entwickler zu bezahlen? Welchen Einfluss haben Firmen auf die Projekte? Ab wann möchte man für seine Open Source Arbeit bezahlt werden? Möchte man überhaupt bezahlt werden? Einige dieser Fragen versuchen wir in einem Seminar an der TU-Berlin zu erforschen :). Da es dazu aber leider nur wenige Artikel gibt, hoffen wir auf eure Mithilfe. Some of us get paid by a company and some of us do it because of personal interest. But when is it profitable to pay contributors for their work on Open Source projects? How much influence does a company have on an Open Source project? How do you see the topic of paying open source programmers and would you like to get paid? We want to research some of these questions in a seminar at the TU-Berlin. Our problem is that there are only few papers on this topic.
