That is in the eye of the beholder. Both are more "type safe" and
both have better "memory safety", but that leaves many classes of bugs
that can happen in either.

Because, at the time, it wass trendy and new. Now we know Google is
not going to grow Go much more, and we see some ugly sides of Rsut.
IMHO, the lack of standardization of Rust, and the constant incompatible
code chrun of Rust, makes it not ready for prime time.
