I think we should put together a recipe for each distro that will get ntpsec running after a fresh install from their download media.
We probably need a few notes on the "fresh install" step. That's to make it reproducable and speed things up for those of us who aren't super familiar with that distro. I think we should run them before each release. Just to check for bitrot, changes to a distro, and keep buildprep up to date. Do we have a sample ntp.conf? I see one under packaging/SUSE/, but no others. Is one enough, or do we need a separate one for each distro? I'm happy with one and minor edits for each distro if tweaks are needed. It should include a NTS client. Assuming this is a good idea, should we delay the release for a few more days to do this now? -- These are my opinions. I hate spam. _______________________________________________ devel mailing list devel@ntpsec.org https://lists.ntpsec.org/mailman/listinfo/devel
