I don't know anything about that stuff. It's more likely to get fixed if you file a bug (issue) at https://gitlab.com/NTPsec/ntpsec/-/issues It will probably help if you provide your distro and what versions of python appear if you ask for python, python2, and python3 -- These are my opinions.
