This is great, sometimes I run 7 Python versions and flip between them quickly for testing. Hard coding the python version breaks this. If you want to know, read up on "select python". Not a simple subject for the programmer, but wonderful for the user. Your questions show you are looking at a tree, not the forest. This got done wrong for years with gpsd.
