Hi! For reasons, henceforth we longer wait on the NTP Foundation to release. We will release when we release, and then if necessary we can do a security point release immediately after they release.
I understand that this can cause problems for distro packagers. However, distro packagers are used to fast security post-release point releases , as they do it themselves. Also, we are not yet in any of the major distros, so it's not a problem for us. ..m
