Some update on the issue. It seems the problem using modified jabber plugin is, that I have to write the password before creating the account. Connection manager the tries to use this password to log in, which obviously fails.
I modified it a little bit to be able to leave the password field blank while creating the account. This took me one step forward, now it creates the account, code request is sent and it doesn't try to log in. After this the account in the settings says "not signed in" as it should. Then I update credentials and write the code from the sms as password but the updated credentials are not sent to the connection manager. Is the connection manager misbehaving or am I just doing something wrong? -Teemu On Sun, Jan 4, 2015 at 8:02 PM, Teemu Varsamäki <teemu.varsam...@gmail.com> wrote: > I almost managed to get it to work. > > Basically I just copied all the stuff from Jabber plugin and changed > connection manager and protocol from gabble and jabber to morse and > telegram.
