The emulator crashes on boot in my work's PC (no problem at home). I've
checked the known issues and read there is an issue if the PC's
virtualization is disabled.

I downloaded Intel's utility to check the supported CPU technologies and I
can see that the virtualization technology is enabled, I even entered my
BIOS' settings to verify it and yes it is enabled but still the emulator
crashes.

At work I am using Windows XP SP3 on an Intel Core2 Quad Q8400 @2.66GHz
machine and since I cannot debug my game on the actual device (I've already
emailed the dev list but never received a reply) and cannot debug on the
emulator I am stack for the moment.

For the moment I have to debug the game by creating log file but I'd like
to be able to step-by-step the code preferably on the actual device but if
that cannot happen then at least on the emulator
