Hello kind dockers (or how you call sailors working in a harbour? :)) Can you shed some light on how app-OS dependencies will be managed in a harbour.
Let's say: 1. I released Flashlight version 1.0 (just did it :)) that uses a trick to make Sailfish OS 1.0 display flashlight 2. Jolla releases Sailfish OS 1.1 with the proper Torch API support 3. I release Flashlight 1.1 with the proper Torch API support and.. what happens to the poor guys who didn't upgrade ans are still on Sailfish 1.0? - Will they be pushed an incompatible update? - Or can I specify that Flashlight 1.1 is for OS 1.1+ only? - Will I then be able to keep Flashlight 1.0 available for OS 1.0 in parallel with Flashlight 1.1 for OS 1.1? That is of no burning issue of course, just wondering about the future as Jolla seems to be promising quite frequent OS updates (was it monthly?). Best regards, Artem. P.S.
