I guess that Ronni of Jolla confirmed that it won't, and at this point I 
have no reasons not to trust him...

There are multiple other kinds of protections as well supposed to keep 
sensitive information on your phone secure, and actually ANY of them can 
potentially leak sensitive information or get hacked. Yet I haven't seen 
anyone worrying about any of them as if the copy protection could be the 
only possible security threat. Strange.

I'd be much more interested in making sure that e.g. Android permission 
control works the proper way, as e.g. on BB10 after the 10.2 update (at 
least on my Z10) all applications get all the permissions automatically 
without even notifying me, let alone asking me to grant them.  Now, THAT'S a 
security threat if any Android application gets automatically permitted to 
autostart, make phone calls, send messages, access contacts and files, use 
camera, and so on.  Any possible copy-protection leak is like nothing 
compared to it.
