I have been using Linux on X series Lenovo Thinkpads for many years, X200, X220, X240 and before that IBM A31 & X31 Linux versions include Fedora, Centos, RHEL but I have briefly tried Ubuntu (successfully). I develop navigation and mapping software for autonomous marine vehicles for a living using these computers.
