Upstream version of phatch is available and also a patch provided on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1192867 but the assignee is unresponsive.
Unfortunately, I am not in proven packager group so it would be nice if someone can submitted and update that package. I understand the main maintainer might be busy, the bug is there for months.
