Which makes polkit optional if NM (or anything else that links to libpolkit) is used. This is a follow up to http://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/commit/?id=53e244bef637c3e4004961651d4ed23eda7393b5 I suspect for most people this is a "duh, finally" thing. Upgrades should work fine (polkit gains a new dep on polkit-libs). But do be aware that if you *do* want it and you are constructing a system from scratch, you'll now have to explicitly install "polkit".
