We're not (ultimately, at least), just talking about a list of packages. It
is like a sub-version of the operating system. A "flavor", perhaps. Using a
different ID and ID_LIKE=fedora seems a) far too heavy and b) expressive of
a much larger difference.

I *do* like that you're planning to move this to /usr/lib. It never made
sense to me as _configuration_.
