As part of GSoC Michael Simacek is working on improving mock. Among other features, DNF support is already implemented and working. More information can be found on his blog [1] (part of Fedora Planet). The code is hosted on [2], RPMs for latest development version can be found on Fedora Jenkins [3] (the RPM is renamed to xmock to allow parallel installation with mock from Fedora repos).
