That sounds problematic - why x86_64 only?
Hopefully that could be fixed?

BTW shake [1] seems to be able to handle ninja [2].

I would say no.  Playground should only contain packages built
fully from source.

So if chromium is only buildable from source for x86_64 currently
then so be it.
