There is missing some statistics behind it such as deviation computation. And 4 tests/numbers seem to be too few to compute any real statistics. Some numbers in the initial mail even show as if prelink is slowing down the startup. Technically I do not understand how it can happen and IMHO rather the numbers are bogus. If there is a proven performance degradation it would be good to know the reason.
