http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/Php55

This feature is now nearly completed.

Sorry for the delay, upstream have just released beta1 (Feature Freeze),
the slip is due to the merge of the new "Zend OPcache" extension, the
old "Zend Optimizer+" which have been open sourced (PHP License). APC
still present, but only for user data cache.

So please, start the test of your favorite webapp.

As usually backport packages are available in my "remi-test" repository
for those who want to use/test/stress PHP 5.5.0 on Fedora 17/18.

Regards,
Remi.
