At this point you shouldn't ask either if "an official way exists or 
not".
That makes no sense, creating "an official method" to do something that 
you shouldn't do.

Probably, after an upgrade to Fedora 19, you risk to don't see Gnome 
3.7 either.
If you want go however, you can read a NOT recommended method to 
upgrade Fedora  (
