One additional question on the feature... from the feature page: "Fedora 16/17/18 are already running MATE Desktop 1.5.5 which is the development release of 1.6"
Is there a reason for a development release being pushed to stable releases? http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy#Stable_Releases I don't know much about the MATE release cycle, how much change is there in a development release? kevin
