Thanks for testing. Well, when I drafted the feature page, I didn't plan to change the default without hearing the opinions from actual users of sentence-based Japanese input. But it might be good to start with a wider scope and fallback to ibus-anthy if needed. So I'll update the wiki to cover the default change.
