IMO, kscreen is going to have to do a lot of maturing before I'd want to use 
it.  
The version I tried kscreen-0.9.0-2.20121228git.fc19.x86_64 seemed to do almost
nothing - when I tested by plugging external hdmi I like the original kde 
screen 
mangement much better.
