Hi,
not much to be done, except of not using deprecated flags in configure,
because this is failing on a recently deprecated G_CONST_RETURN, but not
in the eds itself, but in pango, which is not ready for such change yet.
When the pango will be fixed then the eds will start building too.
I guess similar failures due to used libraries not ready for deprecated
symbols in public headers are in more packages than in eds.
