Presto-utils was originally created to generate the deltarpm metadata for yum-presto to use so it knew which deltarpms to download. This functionality was merged into createrepo a long time ago, and presto-utils has seen little love since then.
If someone is still using presto-utils and wants to keep it alive (and, judging by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?component=presto-utils&product=Fedora, it seems some people are), now would be a good time to claim it. Otherwise, I'm going to retire it. Jonathan
