Thanks, I agree it's a hardware thing although ION / Atom combination isn't that rare and also used to work fine under F14. I have an older, larger laptop with Radeon graphics that works OK with F15. Other machines in the house use F15 and Intel graphics without problems. That said I really don't want to have a miscellany of different OSs in the house and the machine that doesn't work is my main one!
