If this is semi-sane for now, I think we're looking at 1500 MB for Fedora 43, and reevaluate every so often. To do that I think the abbreviated checklist is: a. File a FESCO ticket to get approval for such a late change; b. Make changes for the desktop variants only, I think the partitioning lives somewhere in anaconda
This can only be done for new installations of Fedora 43+. Existing installations can't be upgraded because shrinking a partition is an extremely dangerous operation, and some file systems don't even support it.
Windows also encountered a similar problem with the recovery partition (well known update error 0x80070643).
I think 1.5 GB isn't enough. /boot should be at least 2GB in size. -- Sincerely, Vitaly Zaitsev ([email protected]) -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
