I tried to get the list of packages dnf would install in a new directory
by running a command like this
dnf --installroot=/tmp/rootfs --use-host-config install bash
The following command
dnf repoquery --providers-of=requires --recursive bash --arch x86_64 --arch
noarch
looks like it lists a much larger number of packages. Especially it
seems to list every possible candidate for a dependency. It lists for
example all glibc langpacks and the dnf --installroot= command just uses
glibc-minimal-langpack which would be enough for me to know.
Is there an easy way to get the list of packages dnf would install from
repoquery?
