I for one use steam on Fedora. And the i686 packages are critical path for building the flatpak, right? (Though I admit I am not entirely sure inside steam where the line is between what is native and what is encapsulated inside the steam runtimes.)
We also have Nobara downstream and one of its chief selling points is gaming. I really do not want to lose steam on Fedora. On Jun 24, 2025, at 8:03 AM, Jonathan Wright via devel <devel@lists.fedoraproject.org> wrote:
Yes I think it's still very relevant to Fedora. You don't find Arch listed either, but tons of people run Steam on Arch. V Tue, Jun 24, 2025 at 02:29:37PM +0200, Michal Schorm napsal(a):

We have no idea how many Fedora users actually use steam (it could just be the N people on this list, it could be 99% of the Fedora desktop users). Without that we are constantly fighting over 'stop everything unless this gets fixed' when very little of it is outside of our control.

Is Fedora relevant for Steam? The download page
<https://store.steampowered.com/about/> only offers a Debian package and the
only more verbose message I found
<https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/1114-3F74-0B8A-B784> talks about
Ubuntu LTS.
