Hello Fedora community,

My name is *Nwachukwu Israel Kaosisochukwu*, and I’m excited to introduce
myself as a Google Summer of Code 2025 applicant contributing to the Fedora
Project. I'm particularly interested in the project titled *“Create a
service to get a new project to Fedora more easily.”*

I’m an undergraduate Computer Science student with a passion for open
source, automation, and developer experience. I have experience working
with Git, GitHub, and frontend technologies, and I’m currently growing my
skills in Python and Fedora-specific tools.

To start contributing, I’ve been exploring the *Packit* project and have
begun working on issue #2468 <https://github.com/packit/packit/issues/2468>,
which focuses on understanding and documenting the *Packit configuration
file* (.packit.yaml). This helps me better understand how Packit simplifies
Fedora packaging and integrates with upstream workflows.

My goal is to help lower the barrier for new projects joining Fedora and
improve contributor tooling and documentation. I look forward to
collaborating with you all and contributing meaningfully to the Fedora
ecosystem.

Best regards,
*Nwachukwu Israel Kaosisochukwu*
