Anything more information about this?  What is it about the "debug
data" which is a problem, and can anything be done about it?

I assume this refers to files like
/usr/lib/debug/usr/x86_64-w64-mingw32/sys-root/mingw/bin/zlib1.dll.debug
which are actually PE files.
