Obsoletes was added in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-qt5/c/ad1dbc3c71368e53dc7ff67e5d33aa62c96f9174 (two days ago), so this should be solved soon. > Problem 2: installed package icedtea-web-1.8.8-6.fc41.x86_64 requires > java-17-openjdk, but none of the providers can be installed > - cannot install the best update candidate for package > icedtea-web-1.8.8-6.fc41.x86_64 Bug 2340633 - icedtea-web: FTBFS in Fedora rawhide/f42 > Problem 3: package libtinysparql-3.9~rc-1.fc42.x86_64 from > updates-testing obsoletes libtracker-sparql < 3.8 provided by > libtracker-sparql-3.7.3-5.fc42.x86_64 from fedora > - installed package gnome-online-miners-3.34.0-10.fc36.x86_64 > requires libtracker-sparql-3.0.so.0()(64bit), but none of the > providers can be installed > - cannot install the best update candidate for package > libtracker-sparql-3.7.3-3.fc41.x86_64 > - libtracker-sparql-3.7.3-3.fc41.x86_64 does not belong to a > distupgrade repository > - problem with installed package Looks like gnome-online-miners should be rebuilt for a new SONAME? Ah, no, gnome-online-miners is offline^W retired. → https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/fedora-obsolete-packages/pull-request/107 > Problem 4: package python3-file-magic-5.46-1.fc42.noarch from fedora > conflicts with python3-magic provided by > python3-magic-0.4.27-10.fc42.noarch from fedora > - package gnome-feeds-2.2.0-2.fc42.noarch from fedora requires > python3dist(python-magic), but none of the providers can be installed > - cannot install the best update candidate for package > python3-file-magic-5.45-7.fc41.noarch > - cannot install the best update candidate for package > gnome-feeds-0.16.2-15.fc41.noarch Yeah, python3-file-magic and python3-magic intentionally conflict. If looks like gnome-feeds gained an dependency on python3-magic. Many common utilities require python3-file-magic (rpmlint, koji, mock, fedpkg, …), which makes gnome-feeds not installable on many systems. Maybe gnome-feeds can be updated to not require python3-magic. Kavel, Artem, you're the maintainers of gnome-feeds… WDYT? > Problem 5: package python3-file-magic-5.46-1.fc42.noarch from fedora > conflicts with python3-magic provided by > python3-magic-0.4.27-10.fc42.noarch from fedora > - package gnome-feeds-2.2.0-2.fc42.noarch from fedora requires > python3dist(python-magic), but none of the providers can be installed > - problem with installed package > - problem with installed package > - python3-file-magic-5.45-7.fc41.noarch does not belong to a > distupgrade repository > - gnome-feeds-0.16.2-15.fc41.noarch does not belong to a distupgrade > repository Same as above. > Problem 6: problem with installed package > - installed package icedtea-web-1.8.8-6.fc41.x86_64 requires > java-17-openjdk, but none of the providers can be installed > - package icedtea-web-1.8.8-6.fc41.x86_64 from fedora requires > java-17-openjdk, but none of the providers can be installed > - installed package java-17-openjdk-1:17.0.14.0.7-6.fc41.x86_64 > requires java-17-openjdk-headless(x86-64) = 1:17.0.14.0.7-6.fc41, but > none of the providers can be installed > - java-17-openjdk-headless-1:17.0.14.0.7-6.fc41.x86_64 does not > belong to a distupgrade repository > You can try to add to command line: > --no-best to not limit the transaction to the best candidates > --allowerasing to allow removing of installed packages to resolve problems > --skip-broken to skip uninstallable packages Same as above.
