So long as the builds haven't been garbage collected yet, you can recover them: Request a new side-tag for the f42 branch, and then "koji tag-build f42-build-side-xxxxxx <nvr1> <nvr2> <nvr3> ...". After that's done, you should be able to create an update from the new side-tag.
