It mentions current versions because it's using the version templates, but it hasn't had a major edit (only cleanups) since 2013. However, folks have been giving it minor touch-ups, and I think livecd-creator was actually still working until fairly recently - jforbes noted it wasn't working for the most recent kernel test day, but it *was* working for the previous one. We should probably update it to document use of Kiwi, since we're gradually moving things towards that (and it's probably a bit easier to run locally than livemedia-creator).
